Wade among mangroves
Silt erupts at my feet
Ankle loom jellyfish
Are considered
Not very harmful
Gangsters of murky shadow

Mangrove leaves 
Are not blackened
By pollution
Thus considered 
Healthy
Perhaps they are a bit lazy

Sun is tired
Overexertion
Collapses in ruffled tide
Splashes gold & diamonds
On our knotted roots
On the faces
Of freshly hatched prawns
