What’s worth not being lazy about
A cheek to tend to
Round moon
The texture of the land
Is further away
And harder to keep close in the mind.
No one tells you you are doing a good job
No one sees your heart, really
But laziness ripples out
And piles up
I’m working on working harder 

On thing I’ve long forgotten
